Erika Batcheller is a seasoned communications practitioner with more than 20 years of experience leading successful social impact initiatives in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
Erika oversees our brand management and internal and external communications, including strategic planning, public relations, digital media and visual communications. She has significant experience in the area of health education, behavior change and social change campaigns.
Prior to relocating to Sioux Falls, S.D., Erika served as vice president in the Washington, D.C., office of Fleishman-Hillard, a leading global communications firm. She managed public education programs for a wide range of award-winning cause initiatives, including the largest ever Federal media campaign to prevent and reduce illicit drug use among youth.
Before that, Erika served as deputy press secretary and official spokesperson for First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. She also served as deputy press secretary to U.S. Senator Kent Conrad and director of communications for a national rural advocacy organization.
Erika is active in her community, having served on non-profit boards and as a volunteer for numerous causes.
