Jordan (he/him)

Coach, Denver

Jordan never thought he’d be living a life without alcohol. Now that he is, he wants to help others find a fresh start, move past shame and live healthy lives.

Coach type: Person with addiction

Coaching since: 2024

Lived experience:
I started drinking at a young age due to undiagnosed anxiety and depression. I experienced early childhood trauma, and I spent a lot of time alone. My drinking continued to get worse through high school, college and in the years after. Eventually, I realized I was dissatisfied with all aspects of my life. I wanted to feel better. During COVID, I took the time I needed to get well. I adopted my dog, who’s been a huge part of my journey. She helped me get more active.

Professional background:
I’ve worked a lot of different jobs, including as a paralegal, and ranging from roles in mental health to manual labor and restaurants.

Expertise:
Mental health, harm reduction, self-care, moving past shame

Interests:
I love being active with my dog, Meadow. We go to the park and hike as much as we can. My other hobbies are reading, cooking, listening to music and watching movies.
