Mike Sullivan grew up in a small, rural town in New York, where the industries were primarily dairy farming and higher education. He’s one of five kids from a family of educators. He taught high school English and history in the Boston suburbs after college.
After two years of teaching, Mike began his work in the HR profession. He worked in Aerospace industries and traveled and lived internationally for much of the next 30 years.
Mike has led large and diverse management teams, working with the major organizational entities of Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and the City of Colorado Springs. His expertise includes organizational assessment and development, executive coaching, international program management and labor relations.
Mike moved to Colorado Springs in 1984. Living in Colorado had been a dream since his high school skiing days around Lake Placid, NY. Although he had to travel for work much of the time he has lived in Colorado, he and his family have settled in and consider it home.
Mike enjoys time with his family, mostly on ski trails and golf courses. He is married to a wonderful spouse of more than 35 years, Diane and has a wonderful son, Matthew.
