Wellness culture: Lacey's story
Peer coach Lacey bravely shares a difficult time in her life and how the Face It TOGETHER team rallied around her. It's a beautiful example of how we try to live up to our values, and we hope it will encourage others to reach out if they're in need.
We're firm believers in the importance of supporting, not penalizing, those who experience a relapse or recurrence of use. When Lacey was struggling with her mental health and then her addiction wellness, she went to Wendy White, our CEO. The first question Wendy asked was, "What can I do to help?" Lacey said it was a huge relief. She was able to craft a wellness plan alongside Wendy and received support and love from the whole team.
