Coach type: Loved one
Coaching since: 2021
Lived experience:
Two of my sons have struggled on and off with addiction. For more than 10 years, I tried dealing with it all on my own – I didn’t want anyone to know. I just kept thinking, “I can fix it. I’m a mom; I can fix my kids’ issues.” Several years ago, I finally realized and understood that I needed help. My own health depended on it. I sought and found the help I needed and spent extensive time on my own wellness and addiction education. One of my favorite phrases is “don’t waste the pain” and that’s exactly why I wanted to start coaching other family members.
